Advice on Lice, Inc. was officially established in November of 2007, but the work of the company began at least ten years before. It was a personal mission for Karen Franco in the years when her children were in elementary school, and she volunteered in any programs the children attended to help screen for head lice in order to prevent outbreaks. As she became increasingly familiar with the condition, she found that many people would seek her out to assist them with their own infestations. Through the years, Karen has established a knowledge of the condition and how best to treat it to accomplish eradication.

The goal at Advice on Lice, Inc. is to educate and assist the Washington Metropolitan Area with the condition of head lice. There is tremendous controversy surrounding this issue, and it is a concern for Advice on Lice, Inc. that the information that is offered is often misleading or confusing. We try to clarify safe treatment options, and we offer a sensible method to facilitate the removal of lice and nits. It is our belief that the success of any head lice treatment is dependent upon diligent follow up nitpicking.
